The Challenge

SMEs in the road freight transport sector in Spain traditionally operate without adequate digital tools. They managed orders, driver communication, incidents, and documentation using calls, WhatsApp, and paper. This caused a severe lack of operational visibility, undocumented incidents (resulting in lost revenue), and significant hurdles in scaling their businesses.

Our Solution

We built a powerful orchestration engine hidden behind an extremely simple interface following the principle: "Powerful engine. Simple UX." It models complex logistical operations (transfers, relays, multi-drop deliveries) centrally, without requiring technical training for the end-user.

Key Features

  1. Logistics Domain Engine
    • Models operational reality by breaking it down into logical layers: Orders → Journeys → Milestones → Tasks.
  2. Native Driver App
    • Linear navigation mobile module (iOS/Android). Drivers can report milestones (loading/unloading), incidents, and upload Proof of Delivery (PODs) using their device's camera.
  3. SLA Machine & Incident Management
    • Automated server-side engine computing deviations between scheduled and actual times, triggering real-time alerts (WARNING / BREACHED).
    • Traffic-light incident management (levels N0 to N3) that automatically calculates economic impacts (e.g., waiting time charges).
  4. Multi-tenant & Document System
    • Deep RLS (Row Level Security) ensuring complete data isolation between companies.
    • 7 distinct access roles using RBAC, alongside native cloud-connected transport document generation.

Bleeding-edge Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router + Turbopack), React 19.2, TypeScript 5.9, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn/ui.
  • Backend & DB: Supabase (PostgreSQL), deep RLS, Auth SSR, Edge Functions.
  • Mobile App: Capacitor (for iOS and Android wrapping).
  • Infrastructure & QA: Vercel, GitHub Actions, Vitest, pgTAP (testing), Biome v2, Zod.

The Result

Reduced Technological Friction: Implementation of rapid flows like "Quick Order," allowing dispatches to be created in under 15 seconds.

Revenue Assurance: By documenting milestones photographically and logging incidents in real-time, transport companies prevent revenue leakage from unprovable services.

Ultra-Scalable Architecture: Thanks to Next.js and robust PostgreSQL schemas, the system perfectly serves single-truck freelancers as well as large fleets, laying the groundwork for upcoming features like eCMR and AI automations.
